About EntireHome.com

When I was a boy, my Dad had a business buying run-down houses, fixing them up, and then renting them out. I grew up with the romantic notion that I'd like to buy a fixer-upper and make it into a gem.

Luckily, my wife was a bit more practical -- while we had the opportunity to make some nice improvements to our first house, I quickly learned that home improvement could be a source of seemingly never-ending work, and that "sweat equity" could get pretty expensive!

EntireHome.com lets me explore the world of home improvement without actually tearing down the wall of my bathroom, installing a new countertop, or putting new shingles on the roof.

It also gives me an excuse to research some of the really interesting developments in environmentally-friendly building products -- both those made from recycled materials, and those that promote energy efficiency.
